NEW: Maybelline Master Contour V

Hi Guys!

Sorry that I've haven't blogged recently, it's been manic. I've finished my second year at university, had a holiday with my girls in Zante, been to Bournemouth Sevens festival, sadly lost a very close family member and it's my 20th birthday this week. Therefore, I just haven't had time to sit down and write BUT it's always popping on my instagram account (TheBeautyGodzilla) so you can always catch me on there.

I'm here to talk to you about a product I was given to try out by Maybelline and it's their new contour product the "Master Contour V". You may spot a certain someone (ME) on the online advert for this product. It was the first time doing anything like that and honestly I really enjoyed it! I would absolutely love the opportunity to do something like that again.

So having received the product before it hit the shelves I've had plenty of time to play. It comes in 2 shades, light and medium, and is a cream highlight and contour in a stick. I personally love this concept because it makes application easy and means you can blend this product with your fingers or a brush. The medium shade is the one I use and it blends in seamlessly with all my foundations (Rimmel/Charlotte Tilbury). I will be honest by saying that I use the contour more than the highlight and I typically set it with a bronzer and then a setting spray. It gives a lovely natural chiselled contour. I'm still getting to grips with the highlight as I don't usually use a cream highlight, I just use a lighter concealer under my eyes and bring the excess to the tops of my cheekbones. For my more make up minimal days the cream highlight is perfect over a BB cream or moisturiser, however if I'm attending an event or a night out i'll still stick to my concealer. Once I've cracked it i'll update y'all on instagram.

Final verdict- it's a massive YES from me! Finally a quick, easy, hassle free way to contour without breaking the bank!!
